The women of Marysville First UMC gather for fellowship, service, learning and support of ministries near and far. Long known in the church as United Methodist Women (UMW), the ministry is now United Women in Faith.
Our United Women in Faith support church and community ministries through hands-on service, special projects, fellowship events and fundraising. The annual Rummage Sale and Fall Bazaar are among the familiar ways this group brings people together while supporting its work.
UWF members also help care for people within our church family. Care bags for homebound members are prepared several times during the year, offering a practical reminder that they remain part of the life of the congregation.
Women are invited to participate in UWF activities and in Miriam Circle, a smaller fellowship group that meets for programs, conversation and friendship.
September 2026
Thank you to everyone who helped make the September Rummage Sale a success. UWF will also take part in the Great Northern District Celebration on Saturday, September 26 at First UMC Redding.
The next UWF planning meeting is Wednesday, September 16 at 10:00 a.m. in the Youth Room.
Miriam Circle
All women are welcome. Miriam Circle resumes Wednesday, September 9 at noon in Pioneer Hall with a potluck and fellowship. The September program will feature a speaker from the Liv on Foundation.
The group returns to its regular meeting time on October 14 at 2:00 p.m. in the Parlor. December will include a small gift exchange and dessert.
